Music Lists
What follows are lists of songs from each of the years we were at school, between September 1966 and July 1973 (July 1971 for those who left in the 5th year).
These were put together by your truly (Dave Ireland) based on charts from the time, with changes made based on suggestions from various people (Mike A, Phil F, Simon B etc.).
The Pos rating is the highest position the particular song achieved in the UK Top 40. Where a record shows a 0 (zero) this indicates it either never got into the Top 40, e.g. Cecelia by Simon & Garfunkel, or it was not a single and only appeared on an album -
Interestingly, 'Whole Lotta Love' by Led Zeppelin was not released as a single in the UK, but was in other parts of the World.
